Luncheon Seminar to Be Held at the 85th Annual Meeting of the Japan Radiological Society

We are pleased to announce that MAPI will host a luncheon seminar at the 85th Annual Meeting of the Japan Radiological Society, to be held at Pacifico Yokohama from April 16 (Thu) to April 19 (Sun), 2026.

The seminar, titled “Large-scale Collection, Processing, and Regulatory Considerations for Medical Imaging Data,” will take place on April 16 (Thu) from 12:00 to 13:00.

In the development of medical AI, data preparation—particularly the extraction and anonymization of medical imaging data—remains a significant challenge due to the lack of established workflows. To address this issue, MAPI has developed “MADES (Medical Image Data Extraction System),” which automates the entire process from data extraction to anonymization and output through PACS integration.

In this seminar, we will introduce the technical background of MADES, as well as present a large-scale pipeline for collecting and processing medical imaging data for research purposes. In addition, we will discuss current regulatory trends related to the utilization of medical data.
